Legendary Dance Classics Party Returns for BPM 2015!
BPM 2015 – the DJing and electronic music production event which takes place this September – has announced the return of its popular Dance Classics Party, providing mobile DJs and other visitors with a line-up of legendary acts set to bring the best retro dance anthems to the CHAUVET BPM ARENA.

Headlining the Dance Classics Party will be Euro-trance singer Kelly Llorenna, performing a live PA that will include a variety of new and old hits. Raised in Oldham, Greater Manchester, Llorenna started her music career back in 1992 as part of N-Trance, providing vocals for their now-classic track ‘Set You Free’, which went to number two in the UK singles chart in 1995. In recent years, the singer has formed a new band, Freak Asylum, and worked with collaborators that include Peter Hook of New Order.

Joining Kelly Llorenna on bill is Bassheads (aka Nick Murphy), who rose to prominence in 1991 after the release of his top-ten hit ‘Is There Anybody Out There?’. A key player in the dance scene ever since, having created remixes for the likes of Bjork, the event will see Murphy appear alongside DJ Trix (DMC mix champion) and Radio 1xtra MC L Double, treating mobile DJs to an electrifying live performance of the best Bassheads tracks!

The Dance Classic Party will also include a DJ set from Ultrabeat’s Ian Redman, who found chart success with many of the group’s singles, including 'Pretty Green Eyes', 'Feeling Fine' and 'Better Than Life'. Mobile DJs will also be treated to an energetic set by Mike Lewis (aka DJ Kuta), who came to prominence on the dance scene as part of N-Trance back in the early 90s.

Both DJs will look to take visitors back to the glory days of dance music, giving mobile DJs an excuse to let their hair down on the other side of the decks for a change!

BPM 2015 runs from 12-14 September at the NEC Birmingham. The Dance Classics Party will take place on Sunday (13) from 18:00-20:00 (after the exhibition floor closes) inside the CHAUVET BPM ARENA and is open to all ticket holders.
