Pioneer DJ Unveils DJM-250MK2 2-Channel DJ Mixer
Pioneer DJ has upgraded one of its most popular 2-channel mixers to create the DJM-250MK2. This new mixer is the entry point into the DJM series and is packed with professional features including the Magvel crossfader and Sound Color FX filter from the DJM-900NXS2.
The dithering technology on this mixer results in warm, high-quality audio from both analogue and digital sources. Each channel is switchable between phono, line, and digital inputs and its built-in sound card allows direct connection to a PC/Mac for use with the bundled rekordbox dj application.
Each channel features a smooth level fader and three-band EQ offering +6dB of boost at one side of the rotary controls and complete removal of the relevant frequency bands at the other. There are also separate VU meters for each channel as well as a further stereo meter for the master output.
The mixer features a dedicated mic input, provided in the form of a ¼” jack socket, with its own level and tone controls. There is also a separate Aux input, switchable between analogue and digital, with its own level control. Stereo pairs of both XLR and RCA phono sockets are provided for the Master Output, while a choice between ¼” and 3.5mm headphone sockets is also offered.
The DJM-250MK2 will be available soon at an SSP of £299.
