Pioneer DJ Announces Three New Products Ahead Of BPM | PRO 2016
Today (Thursday the 8th of September), Pioneer DJ has announced three new additions to its range of DJ equipment. The DJM-450 is a feature packed two-channel DJ mixer, the DDJ-WeGO4 is a new entry-level DJ software controller and, finally, WeDJ is a low-cost DJ performance app for iPad.

Inheriting features and design elements from Pioneer DJ’s flagship DJM-900NXS2, the DJM-450 is designed to be the ideal mixer to partner with XDJ-700 multiplayers (or PLX-1000 turntables) to create a professional-style set-up. Key features include 3-band EQ with smooth curves, an independent mic section, two headphone outputs, Sound Colour FX, Beat FX, a professional Magvel crossfader and a built-in sound card offering high-quality audio thanks to 64-bit digital signal processing incorporating dither technology.

WeDJ is an entry-level DJ performance app that makes it easy for any aspiring DJ to start mixing music on an iPad. Using the colourful animated interface, users can playback, mix and manipulate the tracks in their iTunes library and use a variety of features and FX to add creativity to their sets. WeDJ also features a Sync button to automatically align two tracks for beat mixing as well as an Auto Gain feature that will match the level on an incoming track to the one that is currently playing.

Finally, Pioneer DJ has announced the next model in its WeGO series of beginners’ DJ controllers. The new DDJ-WeGO4 features all the tactile controls needed to mix seamlessly, including Play/Cue buttons, EQ knobs, tempo sliders, jog wheels and a crossfader. A licence key for Pioneer DJ’s professional performance application for Mac/PC, rekordbox dj, comes bundled with the DDJ-WeGO4. The controller is also compatible with the new WeDJ app and can connect to an iPad’s music library with a single Apple Lightning cable.

The DJM-450 will be available from November with an SSP of €699 (around £599) and the DDJ-WeGO4 will be available later this month with an SSP of €319 (around £269). WeDJ launched on the Apple App Store today with an introductory price of €2.99 until 30th September 2016 (regular price of €4.99).
