Customisable Subsafe Protective Covers Available to Order
The UK-based company Subsafe Audio has announced that its range of customised pyramidal/shaped protective covers for subwoofers are now available to order, giving mobile DJs that want to protect their audio equipment a chance to get in early.
Created by DJ and company founder Stuart Maclennan, the Subsafe Audio covers have been designed to fit over speakers and subs, with their distinctive pyramid shape ensuring that guests can’t leave their drinks or belonging on top. This design enables mobile DJs to protect their equipment from unnecessary damage without affecting the speaker’s quality of sound.
Available in small, medium and large sizes for a range of subwoofer models, users simply fit the cover on top of their sub, creating a protective feature that doesn’t disguise the model of the equipment or have an adverse effect on sound, thanks to its snug fit and anti-rattle design. Tailored to customer requirements, mobile DJs can order the new Subsafe covers with or without a speaker pole aperture and with their logo or graphics on the front/back.
“I've been a DJ for 20 years now and I can't tell you how much of my very expensive equipment has been damaged because of people seeing a square flat space and setting a drink on it,” says Stuart. “When you pay hundreds of pounds for equipment and see it destroyed because someone was careless it can be demoralising. So this whole thing started with me coming up with a way to protect my own subs and it just continued on from there.”
These customisable Subsafe covers can now be ordered through the company’s website, where mobile DJs can also find more information.
