Bluetooth Upgrade For Pioneer DJ’s Popular HDJ-X5 Headphones
Pioneer DJ has upgraded its affordable HDJ-X5 DJ headphones, adding Bluetooth® wireless technology to create the HDJ-X5BT. This makes these new over-ear headphones a perfect multi-purpose choice, which can be used for listening to music at home or on the move as well as for DJing duties.

Available in three colours: HDJ-X5BT-K (metallic black), HDJ-X5BT-R (metallic red) and HDJ-X5BT-W (gloss white), the HDJ-X5BT headphones feature a swivel mechanism for easy monitoring as well as a flexible headband and comfortable ear pads for extended listening. They also boast a foldable design, making them easy to transport, and offer lasting durability with US Military MIL-STD-810G METHOD 516.7 SHOCK compliance.

Thanks to their Bluetooth connectivity the HDJ-X5BT headphones make it easy to listen to music in any situation – whether you’re at home or on the move – and when you connect the included 1.2m coiled cable you can use them for comfortable DJing too. Whether you go wireless or not, the HDJ-X5BT headphones offer the same outstanding audio quality, durability and functionality as the original HDJ-X5 model.

For wireless use the HDJ-X5BT headphones feature an internal battery that offers 20 hours of playback time from a 3-hour charge. They also feature a built-in microphone – for hands-free calls using any phone compatible with the HSP or HFP Bluetooth profile – as well as original beep sounds when powering and pairing via Bluetooth.

The HDJ-X5BT headphones will be available from mid-October at an SRP of £139 including VAT.
