Introducing The New LEDJ Event Spot Bar
The Prolight Concepts Group has recently expanded its LEDJ product range with the introduction of the Event Spot Bar. This robust fixture comprises four independently-controllable LED-powered pin-spots mounted on a bar which can either by hung from a lighting rig or positioned directly onto a tripod stand.
There are three versions of the new product: the Event Spot Bar WW [available now], which is powered by four 15W warm white LEDs; the Event Spot RGBW [also available now], which features four 15W quad colour RGBW LEDs; and the Event Spot Bar WW (White Housing) [available soon] which features a sleek white finish that make it ideal for use at wedding receptions.
All three models have an extremely narrow beam angle of 4-degrees, which makes them perfect for creating mid-air beam effects. They are also supplied with 10-degree and 45-degree beam diffusors, which means that they are also suitable for table spotting and illuminating stages or specific areas of a venue.
Fully constructed from steel and aluminium, these are professional fixtures designed for years of use out on the road. They feature pro-grade locking PowerCON mains input and output sockets and are supplied with Omega clamps that can be attached to the top of the bar to facilitate hanging from a truss or goalpost. The bar also incorporates a 28mm spigot, allowing it to slot directly into the top of a tripod stand, while M10 threaded holes add to the unit’s flexibility.
Weighing in at 8.1kg and measuring 255 x 782 x 200mm, the Event Spot Bar is easy to store, transport and rig. It also offers a variety of operating modes and features, accessible via a 16-character backlit LCD display, including standalone, master/slave and DMX-controlled operation.
