Native Instruments has announced a series of exclusive preview events for its new TRAKTOR KONTROL D2, set to take place across stores in the UK and Ireland this evening (Thursday the 23rd of April). The free product demonstrations will offer mobile DJs the chance to see the brand new TRAKTOR controller up close ahead of its official release.

Conducted by authorised Native Instruments dealer ambassadors, these exclusive sessions will give DJs a unique opportunity to be the first to see the KONTROL D2 in the flesh. Aside from these guided product demonstrations, attendees will also have the exclusive chance to pre-order the TRAKTOR KONTROL D2 by signing-up to a priority list only available at the event. Mobile DJs in attendance will also by able to enter a prize draw, with the winner at each location receiving a free TRAKTOR KONTROL D2 unit.

The new product from Native Instruments is one of the first Stems-ready DJ controllers and Chad Carrier, Senior TRAKTOR Product Specialist, will give visitors a chance to see Stems in action, using the TRAKTOR KONTROL D2, in a special public demonstration. Stems is an open, multi-channel audio format scheduled for release by Native Instruments in summer 2015, and Chad will share his insight into the new format and discuss the performance mechanics behind it in a livestream from Native Instruments headquarters in Berlin. Those attending the event will then have the opportunity to discuss Stems in an open Q&A session.

The TRAKTOR KONTROL D2 preview events will take place simultaneously at 11 locations across the UK and Ireland today (the 23rd of April) at 7pm.
