Drum Hardware Manufacturer Gibraltar Introduces DJ Range
Already well-established in the drum world, hardware brand Gibraltar has turned its attention to the DJ market releasing a range of distinctive and portable DJ workstations. Built from chrome-plated steel tubing the initial range comprises four workstations as well as a range of accessories.
The first of the new DJ stands is the Foundation DJ Workstation which measures 34” in height, and 30” in width, with four rubber mounts to accommodate DJ coffins or an optional GDJ tabletop. It features four-posts for optimal stability and effortlessly breaks down into three small sections for easy transport.
Second in the new range is the Radius Workstation, which is designed for a controller-based setup. It sports a sleek curved leg design and features Memory Locks to ensure precise positioning every time it is set up. Measuring 38” in height with a 30” straight cross bar the Radius is ideal for DJs on the go who want a sturdy but light-weight stand for their controller and laptop.
With a similar curved design the Radius Deck is intended for use with a traditional mixer + two decks setup. It has a 40” curved crossbar allowing equipment to be positioned with the mixer in the middle and decks slightly out to the sides.
Finally, the largest of the new stands is the Elevate DJ Workstation, which is six feet in length. Compatible with most mixers, CDJs and other DJ Gear, Elevate offers optional integrated speaker suspension stands. Also available, is a plastic workstation table top that can be separated into two 37” pieces with handle cut-outs for easy manoeuvring, as well as cut outs to conceal cables from the front of the workstation.
A range of accessories is also available for Gibraltar DJ Workstations allowing them to be customised for the requirements of individual DJs. These include scrims, for hiding cables and enhancing visual presence, as well as laptop mounts, a folding accessory table and even a microphone boom arm.
