All four members of legendary rock band The Rolling Stones turned out yesterday (3rd April) for the London premiere of their big screen rockumentary ‘Shine A Light’. Mick, Keith, Charlie and Ronnie were greeted on the red carpet outside the West End premiere by hundreds of fans and joined for the screening by a host of celebrity guests.

X Factor winner Leona Lewis has become the first UK female solo artist in more than 20 years to top Billboard’s Hot 100 chart in America. Her single ‘Bleeding Love’, which is released through Syco/J Records in the states, has climbed 7 places to reach the top spot on the newly-announced chart, making it only the second single by a British act in the last decade to top the chart. The track, which was last year's best-selling single in the UK, was actually released in the US six weeks ago.

Software developer Oliver Woodman has released version 1.0 of NoiseCradle, a semi-automated software VJ. NoiseCradle combines audio driven visualizations with user imported images and videos. By constructing a graph of visual building blocks the user is able to quickly and easily construct custom visualisations, which can be branded for a particular DJ, venue or event. NoiseCradle is driven by audio captured in real-time from a microphone, line-in or media player.
