Arctic Monkeys Clear Up At The NME Awards
			
 
			Last night's NME awards took place in the initmate indigo venue, followed by a 'Big Gig' in the 02 arena headlined by The Manic Street preachers who were awarded with the 'Godlike Genius Award'.
The Arctic Monkeys have landed themselves a hat trick at last night's NME awards, following their record seven nominations. As well as taking the coverted Best British Band title the group won the Best Track award for 'Fluorescent Adolescent' and Best Video for 'Teddy Picker'. Since bursting onto the music scene in 2005 the band have notched up 15 NME nominations and walked away with eight of the awards.
