Allen & Heath has launched an updated version of its flagship Xone professional monitoring headphones, the XD-53s. The new XD2-53s have several new features, including a detachable coiled cable with 3.5mm connector and 1/4" jack adaptor, and also sport a stylish gunmetal finish.

The South Eastern Discotheque Association held its Annual General Meeting on Sunday the 25th March at the regular SEDA ShowNight event. A vote took place to decide on the new committee, which is made up of six full members (four of whom take up the offices of the association).

The National Association of DJs will hold their AGM on the 29th April 2012 at the Holiday Inn, Newport, South Wales. The association’s committee have decided to hold each future AGM in a different area of the country that is home to an established NADJ branch. The 2012 AGM will take place in Wales, with the meeting moving around to other branch areas in future years.
