Beyoncé Announces UK Dates
Following her stunning performance during the Super Bowl earlier this month, Beyoncé has now announced the dates for her forthcoming ‘Mrs Carter Show’ world tour.
The singer, who joined her Destiny’s Child bandmates on stage, will start off in Serbia on the 15th of April. The tour is named after her husband Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, and will end in his hometown of Brooklyn, New York.
Tickets for the UK leg will go on sale on Saturday February the 23rd at 9.30am via LiveNation. The ticketing giant accidentally posted a promotional poster (pictured below) prior to Beyoncé making the announcement. The image appears to be part of a royal theme for her performances, which was also used as the story line for a promotional O2 advert.
Beyonce’s ‘I Am’ tour grossed over £100,000 million back in 2009, and her forthcoming jaunt will no doubt be another massive money maker.
