Issue 317 Out Now!
Issue 317 from Mastermix has landed and is the perfect accompaniment for any hard working DJ. This two part set is packed with retro tracks and current hits that will get any dance floor shaking! Packed with 15 mixes, remixes and mash-ups, this month’s issue is a must-have!

Starting us off is the ‘Chart Breakers’ mix which includes some of the hottest tracks around right now. Featuring ‘She Wolf (Falling To Pieces) from David Guetta (feat. Sia), ‘Va Va Voom’ from Nicki Minaj and ‘Turn Around’ from Britain’s answer to Beiber: Conor Maynard (feat. Ne-Yo). This leads us into the first Triple Tracker of issue 317 from Coldplay and features arguably their biggest tracks, ‘Speed Of Sound’, ‘Clocks’ and ‘Viva La Vida’. ‘Party Stompers’ then rounds off the first section of the CD with some very cheesy but much loved classics including ‘(Is This The Way To) Amarillo’ from Tony Christie, ‘Honey Honey’ from Sweet Dreams and ‘Randy’ from Blue Mink.

We’re transported back in time for the next 4 mixes and kick off with ‘The Clash Hitmix’, a brilliant collection of some of their biggest tunes including, ‘Rock The Casbah’, ‘London Calling’, ‘I Fought The Law’ and of course ‘Should I Stay Or Should I Go’. ‘Rock And Roll Dance Party’ follows on nicely and features some retro hits from our American friends; Dire Straits, Johnny Horton and Boots Brown and his Blockbusters with ‘Cerveza’. Cliff Richard also makes an appearance with ‘Do You Wanna Dance’.

‘David Bowie: 1972-1977’ is another blast from the past up next and features firm favourites ‘Rebel Rebel’, ‘Fame’, ‘Golden Years’ and the weird and wonderful ‘Starman’ amongst other classics. From Poppin’ to Rockin’ now with the ‘Paradise Will Rock You’ collection, some golden oldies that will definitely get your dance floor full! ‘We Will Rock You’ from Queen, ‘Shout’ from tears For Fears and ‘I Love Rock N’ Roll’ from Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. Mixing things up a bit are ‘Paradise’ by Coldplay, ‘We Are Young’ from Fun (feat. Janelle Monae) and the classic ‘end of nighter’ ‘Never Forget’ from Take That. Finishing off CD1 is a brilliant mash-up of Psy vs. David Guetta with ‘Gangnam Style’ and ‘Sexy Chick (instrumental)’.

CD2 starts us off in the mega party mood with ‘Commercial Dance’, featuring some of the hottest current hits in remixed form. Beyoncé’s humanitarian track ‘I Was Here (Redtop Club Mix)’ gets top spot with other tracks including ‘Settle Down (Jonas Quant Remix)’ from No Doubt, Blow Me (One Last Kiss) (Gigi Barocco Bouncy Clean Mix)’ and ‘She Wolf (Falling To Pieces) (Michael Calfan Remix)’ from David Guetta (feat. Sia).

The 2nd Triple Tracker is up next from Nicki Minaj and her hits ‘Superbass’, ‘Pound The Alarm’ and ‘Starships’ before getting another blast from the past with ‘Club Classics’. Featuring 7 retro smashes including ‘Pump Up The Jam’ from Technotronic (feat. Felly) and ‘What Is Love’ from Haddaway.

The superstar that is Jay-Z then entertains us with his (explicit) Hitmix and reminds us that Mr Beyoncé had some bestsellers of his own! Including ‘Young Forever’, ‘Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem)’, ‘Run This Town’ ‘Empire State Of Mind’ with Alicia Keys and the smash ’99 Problems’.

It’s mash-up time now with Maroon 5 vs. Psy with ‘Moves Like Jagger’ and ‘Gangnam Style (instrumental)’, a different kind of mash-up that your guests are sure to love! This is followed by One Direction vs. Katy Perry with their hits ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ and ‘Last Friday Night (TGIF)’

Finishing off CD2 is the delectable delight from JLS with the ‘Extended Floorfiller: Hottest Girl In The World’. What a party! Issue 317 is available now from Mastermix on CD or digital download priced at £15.32.
