Dance Classics Party At BPM 2012
Mobile DJs are used to being the ones entertaining but it’s time to take a night off to experience life in front of the decks at the highly popular Dance Classics Party during this year’s BPM 2012. Hosted by DJ equipment brand Vestax, this showcase of the best retro dance anthems from the 90s and early 00s will be held in the CHAUVET BPM ARENA from 5pm until 8pm on Sunday the 7th of October.

The Dance Classics Party is included in the price of a BPM ticket and will be Jam packed with some of the UK’s best talent:

Dave Pearce

Once described by Heat magazine as "The People's DJ", he's worked tirelessly to share his passion for dance music with as many people as possible. He devised, created and presented one of BBC Radio 1's most popular radio shows ‘Dance Anthems’, has sold over 1 million compilation albums, presented shows on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2 and BBC 6 Music, not to mention playing all over the world at every major club and festival. This year’s Dance Classics Party promises to be the best yet with Dave behind the decks!

Sonique

Singer, musician and DJ, Sonique enjoyed huge success in the late 90s and early 00s with dance hits including ‘I Put a Spell on You’, ‘Sky’ and ‘It Feels So Good’, which topped the UK singles chart in 1998. Famed for captivating performances and incredible vocals, don’t miss Sonique performing live at BPM 2012.

DJ Woody

DJ Woody's 'Big Phat 90's' AV show is a nostalgic chronological musical ride through some of the decade’s ‘dopest’ moments, taking in the likes of De La Soul, Tribe Called Quest, Naughty By Nature, Cypress Hill, Beastie Boys, Fugees, Dr Dre, Snoop Doggy Dogg and much more. DJ Woody reworks the classics with his unique blend of custom graphics, video sound bites and renowned turntable technique to rock the 'slamminest' 90's house party since Kid n Play raised the roof.

Ian Redman

Originally hailing from the Hardcore and Bouncy Techno scene back in the mid-90s, Ian Redman has since been on the DJ circuit for over a decade. He is one of the true pioneers of ‘Scouse House’ and was also one of the original members of chart-topping dance act ‘Ultrabeat’. Currently Ian can be found headlining 'BCM Planet Dance' in Magaluf and also touring worldwide with The BCM Reunion, Anthem Mania, Ultimate Afterparty and The Big Reunion.

Mike Lewis aka DJ Kuta

Mike Lewis has been a DJ since 1984 and is still going strong. He was a member of iconic dance act ‘N-Trance’ at the time of their seminal release ‘Set You Free’ and has enjoyed continued success in his own right. Recently Mike has been busy with sets at Clubland in Ibiza as well as BCM in Magaluf, Futures in Kavos and Tramps in Tenerife to name but a few. This is on top of an already busy schedule in the UK, which has seen him belting the tunes out at hundreds of clubs and festivals. He is a versatile DJ who's not afraid to get on the mic and get the crowd jumping whilst regularly mixing things up with Vestax.
