In April 2012 American speaker and DJ trainer Mark Ferrell will be visiting the UK to deliver two workshops which will offer a unique chance to learn from one of the leading DJ coaches in the world. Mark will be running his two day ‘Marbecca Bronze Master of Ceremonies’ workshops twice as well as presenting an evening seminar session.
The first workshop, taking place on the 18th and 19th of April has already sold out. The location for this session will be Warbrook House, Eversley, Hampshire, RG27 0PL. A second workshop will then be held on the 24th and 25th of April in a different location that is yet to be confirmed. Places are still available for this session, however they are limited. The cost of the course is £1,000 for the two days, which also includes a year’s membership to the Mark Ferrell Community. Workshops are limited to only 8 delegates, which means that Mark can give one-to-one coaching to each participant.
The Bronze Level is an introduction to being a true Master of Ceremonies. Over the two days the course covers a definition of the role, a summary of the duties that it entails, and advice and practical training for proper execution of those duties. The workshop covers the basics of physical, technical, and emotional aspects of the job and puts attendees on a path to ‘Mastery’. All of Mark’s material is centred on the core principle: ‘It’s not what
you do, but how
you do it that changes people’s lives, including your own. It’s all about Love.’
For those who don’t know Mark Ferrell, Mark has spent his entire life in the entertainment industry, dipping his toe into a wide variety of disciplines – from theme parks to radio, nightclubs to voice acting, and even television, including dancing on Dick Clark’s ‘American Bandstand’. For more information on Mark, visit his website or type in ‘Mark Ferrell’ on iTunes for a great two part interview with Neil Howard and the first part of his ‘Getting what your worth’ presentation.
In conjunction with the workshops there will also be a chance to see Mark speak while he is in the UK. On the evening of the 17th April he will host a seminar presentation at Warbrook house, the cost to attend this session will be just £10, but numbers will be limited.
