Suggs signs up for Virgin Radio Show
Virgin Radio have signed up former Madness lead singer Suggs for a daily two-hour afternoon show. He will take over from Neil Francis, who has been doing the afternoon show for three years.
Suggs, whose real name is Graham McPherson, already has a Saturday night slot on Virgin Radio, which he will continue to host alongside his new show.
The programme director of Virgin Radio Paul Jackson said: "Having a national treasure like Suggs as a daytime DJ is a massive coup for Virgin Radio."
"Suggs has proved to be one of the most popular DJs on UK radio and our listeners simply can't get enough of him."
