MixMash Introduce Pixel Girls In Europe
DVJ Vision and Black Hole Recordings have teamed up to release Pixel Girls, a ground-breaking new visuals DVD. Pixel Girls contains eight original and sexy visions by director and VJ, Christopher Andrew. He creates a fantasy digital world, where beautiful women merge with technology. All visuals are edited and beat-synched to new releases from Dutch electronic dance label Black Hole Recordings, which was co-founded and owned by DJ Tiësto.
Pixel Girls can be used as a standalone DVD at house-parties, played as a continuous-loop along with any music in clubs, bars and other venues or remixed live as part of a DJ’s/VJ’s performance. Pixel Girls is DVJ Vision's first release in both 4:3 and 16:9. Aspect ratio is a real problem for touring VJs these days, because most projection screens are set for 4:3, but Plasmas and LCDs are 16:9. Content doesn't look good when it's stretched out or letter-boxed so DVJ Vision decided to make this a dual-layer DVD that contains both aspect ratios.
The DVD costs just £25 from the MixMash website, where clips of the DVD can also be viewed. ‘Pixel Girls is a very classy and sexy addition to the MixMash catalogue and I predict that it will go on to be one of our top 3 sellers ever.’ says Mark van den Berg, MixMash Product Manager.
