Duran Duran team up with Justin Timberlake
'Rio' and other hits from the iconic 80's band Duran Duran are staple fodder for mobile DJs. However, the band are not relying on their past success and are working with current pop icon Justin Timberlake and producer of the moment Timberland on tracks for their next album.

Lead singer Simon LeBon says Justin contributed "in a writing and production manner" on a new track. Meanwhile Timbaland has been brought in to work with the band on three tracks.

The news comes following a split within the band as original guitarist Andy Taylor left last month, in a statement on their website the rest of the group said "we have reached a point in our relationship with him where there is an unworkable gulf between us and we can no longer effectively function together".

Duran Duran have also recently been on tour in the US.
