Kam all Around the World
Popular gear brand Kam have a busy year planned, promoting their gear at a host of events all over the world. Kam got 2010 off to a great start with the Space New Year’s Day party in Sidney, Australia, which boasted an impressive DJ line-up including Radio One’s Pete Tong. Kam’s KHP1500 headphones were used at the event by a number of DJs including DJ Villeneuve.
In a time of recycled music and remixed back catalogues, one record label leads the way towards a brave new world. Releasing new house music and promoting new house artists, moving the music forward and delivering fresh projects to the people MAP Dance records are keeping house music alive and pioneering new tracks in 2010 and beyond. Kam will be sponsoring the MAP Dance Records party in March at MIDEM, the world’s music marketplace, where international music professionals gather to do business. Kam will be sponsoring the Mexico party at Coco Maya Beach Club alongside Map Dance records.
Also in March Kam will be the official sponsor for Winter Music Conference DJ Spin off in Miami. The following Kam equipment will be used for the competition: Kam KCD400 MP3 Scratch CD and MP3 player, Kam KHD410 USB media player with scratch jog wheel, Kam KHP1500 headphones, Kam Soundforce speakers and Kam LS-01 Laptop stands.
Finally at the end of March Kam will be appearing at the world’s leading music trade show Musikmesse in Frankfurt, which has been the most important meeting place of the music industry for over 25 years. Kam will be launching their latest products in lighting and DJ Equipment for 2010. Over the four days of the fair, manufacturers and dealers, as well as professional, semi-professional and amateur musicians, come together in Frankfurt am Main to find out about the latest products and innovations. Musikmesse is held parallel to Prolight + Sound – which supplements and extends the comprehensive overview of the musical instrument sector offered by the Musikmesse with products from the field of event technology. The Kam product range will be on display on stand C25 in hall 5.1.
