2010 BRIT Awards Nominees Announced
The nominations for the 2010 BRIT Awards were revealed last night at the O2 Arena during a party hosted by Radio 1 presenter Fearne Cotton. There are many artists with three award nominations, including Lady Gaga, Lily Allen, Pixie Lott, Florence and the Machine and JLS. The nominees for best international male include a couple of surprises, with Bruce Springsteen (perhaps due to his Glastonbury headline slot last year) and Seasick Steve joining more obvious choices Jay-Z and Michael Buble in the list.
Along with the nominations, it was also announced previously that the Outstanding Contribution Award will be presented to Robbie Williams, who was also nominated for Best Male Solo Artist. The 30th anniversary of the BRIT Awards will be held at Earl’s Court in London on February 16th, with comedian Peter Kay as host. The ceremony will also be broadcast live on ITV and the winners will be posted here on the Pro Mobile website.
