ADJ Launch Battery Powered LED Pinspot
Following the launch of their LED pinspot last year and the recent addition of a scanning version, American DJ have taken the concept a step futher with their latest product, the Pinspot LED BP. This innovative piece of kit provides the classic pinspot effect from a standalone battery-powered unit.
The equipment designers at ADJ have recognised that many mobile DJs and other entertainment professionals are using LED pinspots for mood lighting around their venues and that sometimes mains power isn’t available in the places that the spotlights need to be positioned. Their solution to this challenge is the Pinspot LED BP, which is fitted with a battery pack that houses 8 standard AA sized batteries. The internal power source provides between 6 and 8 hours of operation to the spot, which incorporates the same 3-watt white LED as the mains operated version. The unit is compact, light-weight and can be hung from a lighting rig or stand alone on its internal base plate.
