Ryger Footlight USB DMX Controller

Ryger have beefed up their Footlight USB DMX controller to a full 512 channels since it was reviewed in Pro Mobile. It also now has a built in scheduler for self activation should it be required at pre-set dates/times (making it ideal for 'setup & forget' installations) and for bands the software can be triggered by MIDI commands. Another new addition is sound activation through the software - although the unit must remain attached to a PC for this facility to operate.
The latest Daslight DVC2 software is even easier to use than ever before. Plus when a fixture is not already in the 'scanlibrary' - if a customer emails Ryger a manual for their lighting effect they can build a library profile for them if they are unsure how to do it - and what's more, they'll do this for free! Also Ryger now have video quick start instructions for getting the hang of DMX programming easily. After watching them for half an hour anyone can use the Footlight USB DMX Controller. The video clips run through using the main part of the Daslight software and uploading programs to the hardware controller.
The Footlight USB DMX is perfectly suited to operating the new breed of cheap LED lighting fixtures and lasers that are appearing on the market lately. In fact anything with a DMX socket can be accurately controlled and the unit is designed for stand-alone use without a PC attached.
