The NADJ has expressed thanks to all of its members who have purchased WorldPay Zinc Chip and PIN machines, following the successful launch of a unique fund-raising scheme back in December 2013. Over £1000 in Amazon e-vouchers has since been raised for the association’s chosen charity: The Salvation Army Christmas Appeal, which will provide gifts to children in need across the UK this winter.
The scheme, which offers NADJ (National Association of DJs) members discount on the machines, as well as an Amazon e-voucher, is still ongoing but has raised £1040 in vouchers so far. As a not-for-profit organisation, NADJ saw the chance to not only offer its members a Chip and PIN solution for taking credit and debit card transactions, but also a chance to do something for charity this Christmas.
WorldPay Zinc – the company behind the product – had previously decided to double the e-voucher reward to £20 per referral for the duration of November. But, recently, after being impressed by the awareness raised by NADJ, the company has decided to offer even more – as explained in its message to the association:
“As one of our top referrers for WorldPay Zinc, we'd like to offer you something extra. You may already be aware that throughout November 2014 we have doubled the Amazon voucher reward to £20 per referral. To thank you for all your help in spreading the news about Zinc we'd like to give you even more. If you refer twenty or more friends to Zinc from now until November 30th 2014, we will send you an additional £200 Amazon voucher on top of the vouchers you will already receive. This means you could potentially earn £600+ in Amazon vouchers, which is ideal with Christmas only weeks away.”
The NADJ is now looking to continue its fundraising into 2015, as indicated on its website: “We've hit our target of raising £1000 of Amazon e-vouchers for charity this year, but wouldn't it be great to continue the fundraising into 2015 with a massive boost from new applications to the WorldPay Zinc Chip and PIN system? If we could get twenty new applications through in November 2014, we would start the New Year and our campaign off very nicely indeed.”
WorldPay Zinc turns the user’s smartphone into a chip and PIN machine and enables them to receive payment into their account in a matter of days. This is ideal for mobile DJs who have client meetings and want to offer their customers a modern, fast way of taking payment, rather than losing business to DJs that do have that facility. The WorldPay Zinc online terminal also allows the user to take payment over the phone. Mobile DJs can simply download the Zinc app for their Android or iOS device, connect the WorldPay Zinc keypad, apply for their account online, and they’re setup to take payments.
New applicants will receive a £10 WorldPay Zinc discount if they use the NADJ referral link and a £20 voucher donation will also be given to The Salvation Army Christmas Appeal.
