Prolight Concepts Releases Equinox Fusion 50 Moving Head
Prolight Concepts has released the Fusion 50, adding to its successful range of Equinox lighting fixtures. A compact, lightweight moving head, the Fusion 50 uses seven 8-watt quad-colour LEDs to deliver smooth colour mixing, allowing mobile DJs to create vibrant washes of colour from rich saturated hues to more subtle pastel shades.
With a beam angle of 40-degrees, DJs can use the Fusion 50 to wash dance-floors, stages and other areas of a venue with far-reaching colour effects. However, being an incredibly bright and agile moving head, with 540-degree pan and 180-degree tilt, mobile DJs will also find that the Fusion 50 generates eye-catching fast-moving beam effects and is ideal when used in multiples, especially when the advanced internal programs are utilised.
With a choice of five operational modes, these internal programs can be activated in Auto, Sound Active or Master/Slave modes, while the DMX-controlled mode, using nine channels, allows in-depth, complex programming for a more personalised lightshow. Meanwhile, the unit’s strobing capabilities and 0-100% dimming allow mobile DJs to achieve flash effects at their chosen intensity; great for the latter parts of evening receptions when crowds are in the mood to party.
The Fusion 50 comes with a hanging bracket, so users can hang the unit from truss for an all-encompassing wash or overhead effects, or stand it on the floor for up-lighting and upward-facing washes. Weighing a modest 3.6-kg, the unit is lightweight and can easily be taken on the road and incorporated into the portable lightshows of mobile DJs.
