The event world must finally be getting back on track post-Covid — the 2024 NAMM Show (held in Anaheim, California) was held in January for the first time since 2020. The world-wide pandemic resulted in the show's January slot being abandoned but now, NAMM is now back to its traditional position as the year’s kick-starter for live and production trade shows.

And what a kick-start this was. With more than 62,000 visitors from 125 countries and regions, attendees of the largest global gathering of the music products industry participated in a variety of activities throughout the week, including product demos, professional development, networking and live music.

And whilst the show encompasses all elements of the music world, there is plenty for DJs to see and experience in terms of equipment, but also from the 200 plus performances. This year star attractions included the ‘all-in one’ battery-powered OMNIS-DUO from AlphaTheta, the DJ Control Inpulse T7 Premium Edition from Hercules and Reloop’s new Mixtour Pro 4-deck all-in-one DJ Controller. Additionally, there was plenty of battery-powered audio and lighting gear, including just about every type of column-array speaker on the market.

And throughout the show, there were top acts performing at the Anaheim Arena Campus. The ADJ stage showcased a run of live acts simultaneously showing off the company's AVANTE series speakers and the latest in ADJ lighting effects.
