The ‘All Around The World Singer’ has announced the forthcoming release of her new album ‘Seven’ on the 7th of October.

The album news comes after Stansfield performed a sell-out tour around Europe earlier this year. The songstress, who has sold 20 million albums worldwide, has performed for over 3 decades. Her international top ten hits include ‘Change’, ‘All Woman’ and ‘Someday’.



‘Seven’, which is also Lisa’s seventh studio album, will see her collaborate professionally with current spouse Ian Devaney who has worked on soundtracks such as ‘The Bodyguard’ and ‘Indecent Proposal’. The album will also feature contributions from Jerry Hay who worked on Michael Jackson’s ‘Off The Wall’, Thriller’ and ‘Bad’ albums.



Stansfield has gained an impressive number of awards over the years including a Silver Clef, Ivor Novello, multiple BRITs and a Grammy nomination. Her return with ‘Seven’ has already met with critical acclaim from The Times newspaper which describes her voice as ‘the most distinctive and sensuous voice in soul pop'.
