Saxon Announce Tour Dates
Rock legends Saxon have announced exclusive club shows in the UK this winter, alongside upcoming dates with Motorhead.
Saxon will perform at numerous locations in the UK including a return to Northampton, Preston and Buckley for the first time since 1970 and 1980. Their memorable comeback will see them perform tracks from latest album ‘Sacrifice’ along with a selection of classics. Footage from the shows will be used for an upcoming documentary, which will also include filming from their shows in Holmfirth and the Steelhouse Festival.
Billed as special guests on the Motorhead tour, which has become unofficially known as ‘Bombers and Eagles Fly Again’, Saxon are excited to join forces once more. Member Biff Byford enthused about the forthcoming collaboration, “it's always great for the fans when the two bands get together, we're looking forward to being out with our mates Motorhead again”.
Saxon have sold over 15 million records worldwide and had 8 UK top 40 albums. Originally hailing from South Yorkshire (the birthplace of Pro Mobile!) the rockers have been entertaining since 1976.
