Step It Up! With ADJ’s Portable Mega TRI38 Sys
DJs and mobile entertainers can ‘pedal’ bright LED colour washes at their gigs with the new Mega TRI38 Sys from ADJ. An all-in-one portable RGB LED wash system, the Mega TRI38 Sys features a wireless battery-powered foot controller that gives users command over functions like Black Out, Sound Activation, Programs and Colour from distances of up to 60 feet (19 metres) – all with a tap of the toe!
This footloose, fancy-free control is only one reason why the Mega TRI38 Sys is an essential LED lighting ensemble for any entertainer on the go. Designed for easy setup and transport, it’s a complete system that contains everything needed to generate bright, smoothly-blended RGB colour washes, all in one convenient, budget-friendly package.

The main attraction of the Mega TRI38 Sys are the lights themselves. Each of the four par-style fixtures is powered by 3 x 3-watt Tri-Colour (red, green, blue) LEDs, providing smooth, shadow-free colour mixing and impressively bright, vibrant washes. With a long running life of 50,000 hours, the LEDs can rack up a lot of miles without needing replacement lamps. What’s more, because they emit very little heat, they keep performers cool and comfortable on stage.
A variety of lighting looks can be created with the Mega TRI38 Sys. There are 12 built-in lighting programs to choose from and other features include fast or slow colour change operation, an LED strobe and pulse effect, 0-100% electronic dimming, and a 25° beam angle.
In addition to the wireless foot controller, the Mega TRI38 Sys can be programmed and operated by a DMX-512 controller via its XLR In/Outs. In total there are six operating modes: Static Colour, Manual Dimmer Colour, Built-In Programs, Auto Run, Built-In Programs and DMX-512 (6, 12 and 15-channel modes). As another convenience, the Mega TRI38 Sys can be operated with the optional ADJ LD RC wireless remote control (sold separately), giving this system the distinction of allowing users to go cordless using either hands or feet!
The Mega TRI38 Sys is extremely energy efficient, with the entire system drawing only 45 watts of power at maximum use. Housed in a sleek and durable black casing, the system measures 877 x 252 x 60mm. Its fixture bar, stand and controller together weigh just 9.5 kg, making it easy for performers of all sizes to carry.
