Darlington based DJ Store Phase One have recently won a prestigious Tees Valley business award for use of internet and E-commerce within a business. The award was presented at a black tie awards dinner in March and has secured the company a place in the North East Business Awards final that will take place on the 1st of May.

This year Phase One also celebrate 27 years in business and so have plenty of experience in DJ equipment retail. However, this award recognises the company’s effort to move with the times and invest heavily in ICT and E-commerce. Their djanddiscostuff.com website is a natural extension to their shop premises and their use of video clips on YouTube.com acts as a virtual showroom.



Commenting on the Award, Phase One’s managing director Mike Stead said, “We think this award is a great success for us all here at Phase One and we are very proud, there has been a lot of hard work gone into the business in the last 4 years and we have now had a bit of a pat on the back and it feels good.”
