Paul McCartney Announces Box Set

Sir Paul McCartney is set to release a ‘Wings Over America’ box set featuring a DVD and three CDs. The set will include a remastered album of the same title from McCartney and Wings’ 1976 North American tour.
Set for release next month, this is a must-have for all McCartney/Wings fans, with the set even including four art books containing a selection of memorabilia, never-before-seen photos and artwork. Linda McCartney’s photography will also be featured in a book titled ‘Look’, giving a unique insight to tour life as the band travelled across the US. A 110-page tour book also looks back behind-the-scenes, with backstage photos, new interviews and liner notes from music journalist David Fricke.
Along with the remastered copy of the album, the set features a bonus audio disc recorded at San Francisco's Cow Palace, a DVD of a rare 75-minute TV special ‘Wings Over the World’ and a photo gallery montage titled 'Photographer's Pass'. The leather-bound 'Tour Itinerary' contains further memorabilia including printed 8x10 photos, a backstage guest pass, copies of the invitation to the end-of-tour party at the Harold Lloyd Estate in Beverly Hills, concert tickets, original album artwork, tour posters, set lists, lyrics and press materials. Finally, the set also includes 'The Ocean View', a hardbound collection of drawings and sketches by Humphrey Ocean.
The ‘Wings Over America’ box set is due for release on May the 27th priced at around £120.
