Indie rockers Kings of Leon have announced the release of ‘The Collection’ to coincide with their first live performances in more than a year.

The box-set will feature all of their studio albums and the ‘Live at the O2 London’ DVD. Their first two albums ‘Youth and Young Manhood’ and ‘Aha Shake Heartbreak’ both reached an impressive number three in the UK, with the former being named one of NME and Rolling Stones’ top ten albums of the year. The band’s fame rapidly rose with their first number one album ‘Because Of The Times’ in 2007 but it was 2008’s ‘Only By The Night’ that fully established the Oklahoma based band as Indie royalty.

Their tracks ‘Use Somebody’, ‘Notion’ and of course ‘Sex On Fire’ propelled the brothers into both the charts and young girls’ hearts, as well as giving them numerous Grammys including ‘Record Of The Year’ in 2009. Their follow-up and latest album ‘Come Around Sundown’ was released back in 2010 and also peaked at number one in the UK.

The Collection will be available from the 13th of May 2013.

Kings of Leon will be on tour in the UK on the following dates:

• O2 Arena, London on the 12th and 13th June 2013
• MEN Arena, Manchester on the 24th and 25th of June 2013
• LG Arena, Birmingham on the 9th and 10th of July 2013
