Blondie Announce Tour
‘Heart Of Glass’ group Blondie have announced a forthcoming 17 date tour across the UK and Ireland which includes the Isle of Wight Festival in June.
The Punk/New Age band formed in the mid-70s and released iconic tracks including ‘Atomic’, ‘Maria’ and ‘Call Me’. They have been touring on and off ever since and have released a total of nine studio albums, six of which have made the UK top ten. Lead singer Debbie Harry has also released five solo albums which spawned singles such as ‘French Kissin’ In The USA’, ‘Free To Fall’ and ‘In Love With Love’.
The band will play a total of 17 dates, beginning in Nottingham on the 14th of June and ending on the 9th of July in London. Speaking about playing across the country, Harry said: "England will always have a special place in our hearts - we're all so excited about the forthcoming tour of the UK."
