Showaddywaddy Announce 2013 Tour
Showaddywaddy have unveiled the dates and venues for their their 40th anniversary tour. Andy Peos, Romeo Challenger, Rod Deas, Dean Loch, Paul Dixon and Rob Hewins will be taking to the stage once more with their collection of original and revived hits.
The group have released 15 albums including their 1978 Christmas number 1, performed in excess of 50 times on Top Of The Pops and received numerous music industry awards. Former lead singer Dave Barton handed over the vocals to new singer Andy Pelos after 38 years as the band’s frontman, and instead now manages the group. Andy has since made his literary debut with his book ‘The Boys Of Summer’ which charts rock n roll life in the 70s.
Showaddywaddy have had over 15 top 20 hits included the number 1 single ‘Under The Moon Of Love’ as well as ‘Hey Rock And Roll’, ‘Three Steps To Heaven’, ‘You Got What It Takes’ and ‘I Wonder Why’ which all reached number 2.
