Vector Lighting Illuminates Knightsbridge
A popular destination for London’s tourists, Harvey Nichols’ lit-up window displays are a visual treat. Illuminated by Vector Lighting’s Showtec product for many years, this year they also provided Harvey Nichols’ exterior fascia with LED for the first time.
Changing with the seasons, the stylish window displays and frontage of the flagship Knightsbridge store have been known to literally stop passersby in their stride, even more so at night when its full lighting effect becomes apparent. For nearly a decade Milton Keynes based Vector Lighting have been responsible for the illumination of Harvey Nichols' enticing window displays across the UK and Ireland, including the much loved London store.
Designed by Andy Slevin, the bespoke lighting schemes are created in close partnership with Nichols' in-house display team. Though this is not the first outing for Vector's Showtec LED Spectrals in Harvey Nichols windows, it is the first time that LED has been used for the exterior fascia of the building.
A punchy colour wash was created with ten external Showtec LED Chameleon18/3w tri coloured IP rated Floods. Internal window displays use a combination of the Showtec Spectral M550 LEDs, the Showtec Promopar Par 16s, plus various flood and track lights, which altogether create a very festive effect!
