‘The Big Reunion’ To Air Next Year
A documentary set for next year will follow the reunion of some much-loved (and very cheesy) former pop acts including Atomic Kitten, Bewitched, Liberty X, 911 and 5ive.
The programme will follow the bands as they rehearse for two weeks ahead of a comeback performance.
"We are thrilled to bring the stories of these pop groups up to date," said ITV's head of digital channels Angela Jain. "A lot has happened in the time these bands have been apart - marriages, divorces and changes in careers - and who knows quite what will happen when they reunite!"
There are rumours that Kerry Katona, who was an original member of Atomic Kitten before leaving in 2000, will also re-join founding members Liz McCLarnon and Natasha Hamilton, leaving a big question mark over Kerry’s replacement Jenny Frost.
5ive will be returning without their fifth member James ‘J’ Brown, which makes us wonder a little bit about their choice of name? The boys are best known for their singles ‘Keep On Movin’’ and cover of the infamous Queen single ‘We Will Rock You’.
‘The Big Reunion’ will air on ITV early next year, and will no doubt make highly entertaining viewing.
