Teen sensations One Direction have made chart history across the pond once again. Their single ‘Live While We’re Young’ has achieved the title of fastest selling single by a UK artist.

The track has entered both the Digital Songs Chart at No.1 today, selling 341,000 copies in one week, it has also registered the biggest opening week sales for a single by a non-US artist ever. Band member Niall Horan says, “We're so happy with the success of the single in the USA and can't wait for everyone to hear our new album. Thank you to all the fans once again!”



Upon release, the video for 'Live While We're Young' was the most viewed video in 24 hours ever on VEVO. One Direction have been nominated for three American Music Awards: New Artist Of The Year, Favourite Album and Favourite Band. The band’s second album 'Take Me Home' is released in the UK on the 12th of November.
