New Bob Dylan Documentary
MVD Entertainment Group will release the new DVD documentary ‘Bob Dylan and The Band: Down In The Flood’ on September 25, 2012, with exclusive interviews from Garth Hudson, Ronnie Hawkins, band producer John Simon and tour drummer Mickey Jones.

In 1966 Bob Dylan began his first electric guitar world tour and backing him was a group of Canadian musicians known as ‘The Hawks’. Following the tour, both Dylan and ‘The Hawks’ retreated for a lengthy convalescence in New York's Catskill Mountains, and when they returned, Dylan had undergone an artistic transformation and ‘The Hawks’ had become simply 'The Band'.

This DVD is the story between Dylan and ‘The Band’, the legendary amateur recordings that they made together in Woodstock, their re-invention of American music and their continued albeit sporadic relationship during the 1970s.

The disc includes new interviews with Dylan guitarist Charlie McCoy, band biographer Barney Hoskyns, Basement Tapes Archivist Sid Griffin, Isis magazine's Derek Barker and Rolling Stone's Anthony De Curtis. It also features rare footage, archive interviews, seldom seen photographs and the music that changed the world.

‘Bob Dylan and The Band: Down In The Flood’ will be available from the MVD Entertainment Group website from the 25th of September priced at approximately £8.99.
