The NADJ Wales branch is hosting a family BBQ from 6pm on Tuesday the 14th of August. The event will be held at the same place as the highly popular 2010 BBQ, How Caple Grange, Hertfordshire, and all DJs and their families are welcome to come along and join in the fun.

The BBQ will provide a welcome break for most DJs who have found summer a very busy time. The event will include some great food (with vegetarian options also available) and the chance to have a drink and a chat with local DJs and also one or two NADJ National Committee representatives and other dedicated DJs who will have travelled hundreds of miles especially for the day!

DJs with children needn’t be concerned as there will be entertainment on hand to keep them amused and, of course, the famous Welsh NADJ Treasurer Hunt! For those who are a little bit older (and grown-ups too) there may even be the chance to sing the night away on karaoke or the opportunity to just have a good dance.

For those who want to drink during the day without worrying about driving back, there is a special discount in place with the host hotel and a double/twin room will cost just £50 including breakfast. If you fancy ‘roughing’ it however, the venue management have given their permission for visitors to bring their caravan/tent and stay in the grounds for free.

The cost for attending the BBQ will be as follows:

• Double/Twin room including breakfast: £50


• Caravans & Tents: Free


• Breakfast (when no room has been booked): £7.50 per person
