American DJ’s Words Of Wisdom Video Contest
DJs and mobile entertainers can be rewarded for their wisdom with one of four great prizes when they enter American DJ’s new competition. The Words of Wisdom contest invites DJs and mobile entertainers to submit video clips that tell a brief story about the life lessons they’ve learned as a result of their profession.
The lessons can include insights into human nature, understanding about important life values, self-discovery experiences or other observations about life in general. Anything DJs and mobile entertainers have learned as a result of their work is eligible. The stories can be humorous, serious or a mix of both!
Entering ADJ’s Words of Wisdom contest is easy – entrants simply make a video with their sage advice and submit it as a video response to the contest video on Brian S. Redd’s YouTube Channel by 5:00 PM Pacific time on July 30, 2012 (1am UK time on July 31st). Entrants can submit as many videos as they’d like, but each one must be submitted separately and they must all be under five minutes in length. The winners of the prizes will be announced at DJ Expo in Atlantic City on August 14
The winners of the Words of Wisdom contest will be selected by a panel of ADJ judges. The prizes, which are worth a total of over $2,000 (£1200), include some of American DJ’s newest and most exciting products – lights, controllers, cases and more:
•The Grand Prize (chosen by American DJ): two American DJ Mega TRIPAR Profiles, one American DJ Wiflex DMX System, one American Audio VMS2 Midi Controller, one Arriba Case AC-125, one Arriba Case AS-190 (for VMS2). This prize is worth $905 (£580).
•Second Prize (chosen by Brian S. Redd): two American DJ Flat Par QWH5s, one American DJ RGBW4C Controller, one Arriba Case AC-140, two 10ft. Accu-Cable DMX Cables, one 10ft Accu-Cable IEC Cable. This prize is valued at $750 (£480).
•Third Prize (chosen by Under The Hood – Chuck Green): one American DJ Galaxian Gem LED. This prize is worth is $250 (£160).
•Fourth Prize (chosen by ADJ NewsWave Editor – Jennifer Ramirez): one American DJ Micro Hypnotic Laser. This prize has a value of $120 (£80).
There is also a fifth prize – each video entry is eligible to win a Mystery Bonus Prize, which is an upcoming ADJ product that hasn’t yet been announced! The winner of the Mystery Bonus Prize will be randomly drawn from all entries and announced in Brian S. Redd’s contest results video, at which time the identity of the prize will be revealed.
