JHS Introduces New HK Audio LUCAS Nano 300

Worldwide trade distributors John Hornby Skewes & Co. Ltd have announced the release of the HK Audio LUCAS Nano 300. The LUCAS Nano's ultra-compact subwoofer and two fist-sized satellites (which only weigh 10kg together) provide an audio experience that rivals far larger systems.
The subwoofer houses the electronics and a versatile three-channel mixing console so that LUCAS Nano 300 is ready for immediate use without any additional equipment. The two satellites lock into a transport bay on the subwoofer with a simple twist of the wrist, and its comfortable grips allow the entire system to be easily carried in just one hand.
The LUCAS Nano, which was first shown to crowds at the Plasa North show this month, has an application range which is almost unlimited. It is a portable sound reinforcement solution for presenters and entertainers, a monitoring system for e-drums and high-quality desktop multimedia, a near-field PA for smaller fair events, and so much more.
The classic setup with stereo satellites is easily reconfigured as a mono system for applications requiring higher sound pressure and greater range, and a range of accessory extend LUCAS Nano's capabilities even further. Current offerings include the proven Add-On Package featuring poles and a tripod, as well as tabletop tripods that may also be used as wall mounts.
The LUCAS Nano 300 ‘s subwoofer measures just 30 x 39 x 42 cm, delivering 160W of power at 2 ohms, whilst the satellites measure a tiny 13 x 13 x 11.5 cm, and deliver 35W at 8 Ohms. The satellite speakers clip into the sub unit, enabling easy transportation.
Distributed exclusively in the UK and Eire by JHS, LUCAS Nano 300 will hit stores in June 2012. For more information on the extensive ranges distributed by JHS, visit the website.
