Issue 310 Out Now
Issue 310 is the latest instalment in the popular range from Mastermix. This two CD collection features the hottest mixes, mash-ups and remixes around, with tracks from some of today’s biggest artists including, Madonna, Christina Aguilera, DJ Fresh and David Guetta. Issue 310 also comprises of cheesy hits of time gone from the likes of Bananarama, Cyndi Lauper and Deborah Harry as well as some funky mash-ups of RnB. The perfect sidekick for any DJ!

Issue 310 features 14 exclusive mixes, designed for use by DJs only. CD1 starts off the fun with ‘Don’t Stop The Pop Party’, a mix with recent hits from Jessie J, Flo Rida, Jason Derulo and David Guetta. This is followed by the interestingly titled ‘Hillbilly Hoedown’ which is made up of the country classics, ‘Swamp Thing’ by Grid, ‘Old Pop In An Oak’, ‘Everybody Gonfi-Gon’ which are sandwiched between the ultimate line-dance track, ‘Cotton Eye Joe’. Onto ‘Indie Anthems’ now, a great sing-a-long mix including ‘The Day We Caught The Train’ by Ocean Colour Scene and ‘Fools Gold’ by the Stone Roses. Not quite Indie enough for you? Switch to CD2 for the ‘Indie Party Triple Tracker’ which includes the Indie ballad ‘Sex On Fire’.



Back to CD1 we head into some real toe-tapping territory with ‘More Bubblegum Pop’ which is as girly as it sounds! An 8 track mix starting off with ‘Co-Co’ by Sweet and ‘Sugar Sugar’ by Archives and also including the cheesy but lovely ‘Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep’ by Middle Of The Road, a fun and fluffy mix which is guaranteed to get the ladies moving!



The second half of CD1 takes us into ‘More Uplifting Anthems’ with a mixture of artists including the Lightning Seeds, INXS, Space and Aztec Camera, a real mix-up which works surprisingly well! Back to ultimate cheesy fun with ‘Here Come The 80’s Girls’ and all the best from the era of leggings and crimpers, ‘Girls Just Want To Have Fun’ from Cyndi Lauper, ‘Like A Virgin’ by Madonna, and ‘Heaven Is A Place On Earth’ by Belinda Carlisle, amongst other great offerings. The last segment of CD1 is the 7 minute ‘Extended Floorfiller: Disco 2000’ and is a great intro to CD2.



Kicking off with ‘Chart Breakers’ we are given some current top 40 hits which will no doubt be requested in the coming weeks, the 5 track mix includes ‘Seven Nation Army’ by Marcus Collins, ‘Love Me’ by Stooshe, along with other tracks to really get moving to. CD2 is definitely feeling the dance mixes, with ‘Commercial Dance’ which contains remixes of current hits, such as ‘Elephant’ by Alexandra Burke and Eric Morillo, and also ‘Dance Nation: 00s’ with some huge classic numbers, ‘Sandstorm’ by Darude, ‘Zombie Nation’ by Kernkraft 400 and the infamous ‘Silence’ by Delerium and Sarah McLachlan.



CD2 also has some great mash-ups, Adele vs. Madcon and Pitbull Vs. David Guetta are sure to get things started. ‘Pure Burlesque’ is perhaps the stand-out mix, with some sultry offerings from Christina Aguilera, Madonna, The Pussycat Dolls and the iconic Shirley Bassey.
