Wedding Marketing For DJs – Reloaded
Derek Pengelly’s workshop for wedding DJs is back by popular demand on Monday the 8th October 2012 at the Holiday Inn, Birmingham Airport. This one day workshop is designed to assist mobile disc jockeys who wish to specialise as wedding professionals.

The foundation of this opportunity is to offer valuable insights into what motivates Brides and Grooms when booking wedding entertainment, to give information on sales techniques and to create understanding about the importance of the DJ’s contribution to the success of the event while creating fun, unique and memorable moments.

Up until now there have been very few opportunities for DJs to learn new skills or practice ideas that they may have other than by trial and error in live situations. Derek Pengelly understands how difficult it can be to obtain valuable guidance and tuition in what is predominantly a self-taught industry. These workshops will allow a group of DJs to work together as a team and share ideas as well as offering constructive criticism and inspiration to those brave enough to leave their egos at the door. The whole day is based around the adage, “It’s not WHAT you do, it’s the WAY that you do it”

Most wedding DJs do the same things: make announcements, introduce toasts, cutting of the cake, invite Brides and Grooms onto the dance floor for their first dance and then have some tricks up their sleeves for some great dancing way on into the night. However, what makes for a great wedding DJ (and one who can earn many times the local fee) is his ability to guarantee a success. Such DJs get involved with the planning of the event, meet the family ahead of time and contribute original and creative ideas which will produce memories that guests will be recalling for many months and years to come. Most DJ already know the “WHAT”, now they can learn the importance of the “HOW”

Cost for the day including Tea & Coffee & Buffet Lunch is £99
