New Compact LiteConsole XPRS
Aesthetics are becoming increasingly important to many of today’s discerning Mobile DJ clients. This means that many DJs strive to put together a well-presented rig that also features a little unique ‘character’. The Prolyte LiteConsole, previously featured in Pro Mobile, provides a professional and customisable DJ platform, however it’s bulky frame has meant that it isn’t suitable for DJs who are restricted by transportation space … until now.
Pro Mobile’s editor Eddie Short got a sneak peak of a brand new version of the LiteConsole at last week’s MixMove DJ Show in Paris ahead of its official launch at the Frankfurt Musikmesse, which opens today. The brand new Liteconsole XPRS has an almost identical appearance to previous incarnations, but the bulky side pieces have been replaced with slim line versions and the whole thing now folds down in an ultra-compact manner, meaning that far from requiring a transit van it can be carried to a gig in a hatchback car.
As with previous versions, the New LiteConsole XPRS has plenty of space for a plethora of control gear spread over two separate levels and multiple units can be joined together to create an even larger frontage. The new console will also be fully customisable offering creative potential only limited by the DJ’s imagination. Look out for a full review in a future issue of Pro Mobile.
