Mastermix Release Issue 309
Mastermix have just released the brand spanking new Issue 309. The ‘only for DJs’ album contains two CDs of modern day chart mixes, megamixes including all-time favourite tracks and some exclusive mash-ups thrown in too!

Issue 309 features 14 exclusive mixes, of varying lengths and covering a huge variety of musical styles, but all designed as tools for hardworking mobile and resident DJs. CD1 kicks off with the ‘Soul Satisfaction’ mix, a great tribute to some iconic voices including Otis Redding with ‘(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction’, ‘Shake Your Tailfeather’ by Ray Charles and the Blues Brothers, and even a song by the welsh wonder Tom Jones who serenades with ‘I Can’t Turn You Loose.’ The CD then heads towards a livelier note with the ‘Do That Party Thing!’ mix including ‘10/10’ by Paolo Nutini, the toe tapping ‘Do Your Thing’ by Basement Jaxx and a cameo by Ali and Robin Campbell from UB40 who team up with Pato Banton for the ultimate retro feel good track ‘Baby Come Back’.

Mastermix never shy away from special occasions and this month’s Issue has an Irish theme just in time to equip DJs with enough tunes for St. Patrick’s Day on Saturday 17th March. You can’t celebrate St. Paddy’s night without playing a track from the Pogues, but thanks to Mastermix you can now play 10 of their sing-a-long anthems in just 13 minutes. The ’10 Of The Best: Pogues’ mix features, amongst others, ‘Fiesta’, ‘The Irish Rover’ and ‘Whiskey In The Jar’ to give revellers some Irish cheer. Following on CD2 is a ‘House Of Pain: Irish Hip Hop Party’ mix including tracks ‘Put Your Head Out’, ‘Top O The Morning To Ya’ and ‘Danny Boy, Danny Boy’ sandwiched between the old school anthem ‘Jump Around’ which is sure to get feet moving! The Irish flavour of this month’s Issue is completed back over on disc 1 with an ‘Extended Irish Floorfiller’ of ‘The Wild Rover’ by the Dropkick Murphys feat. Shane MacGowan.

Aside from the Irish theme, Issue 309 includes an energetic selection of mixes, with a Rizzle Kicks ‘Triple Tracker’ and a ‘Classic Vibes 90-94’ mix involving ‘Come Baby Come’ by K7, ‘Here We Go’ by Kris Kross and ‘She’s Got That Vibe’ by R. Kelly. If all this isn’t enough then there is also a ‘Commercial Dance’ mix with today’s hottest dance tracks, a ‘Chart Breakers’ mix with current top 40 favourites, and not forgetting the Mastermix mash-ups, Rihanna vs. Leona Lewis and Swedish House Mafia vs. LMFAO.

Issue 309 can be yours for £18.38 and is available to by on CD or download direct from Mastermix or from one of their nationwide network of dealers.
