The Darkness reveal their new singer
Further to the Pro Mobile news story in which we reported that Justin Hawkins had left the Darkness, we can now reveal that he has been replaced.

Their current bass player Richie Edwards will take over as frontman, after Hawkins left the band in October 2006 to enter rehab for drug and alcohol addiction. Edwards replaced original bassist Frankie Poullain last year. It is claimed that Toby McFarland will be their new, full time bassist, but it is not known if he will feature on the bands third album, which is due to start recording early this year.
