Following on from the launch of their groundbreaking new Chart Video Express music video download service at the end of last year, Promo Only have made another big announcement. Beat intros and outros are to be included at the start and end of selected up-tempo pop and dance music videos that appear on their download site and DVD compilations.

“This is essential for video DJs who want to mix two tracks together” explains David Brown, General Manager and Music Programmer of Promo Only UK/Europe. “Music videos are made with MTV in mind and not DJs and nightclubs, some start on a vocal or a non music intro so are impossible to mix in and certain others even have breaks in the middle of the song where the music stops and starts again which can clear a dance floor. We make these videos ‘DJ Friendly’ without changing the structure and storyline of the video so unplayable videos are a now thing of the past with our service.”

As well as ‘Intro Edits ’now appearing on their new series, Promo Only are releasing a back catalogue series that will include recent pop and dance favourites in ‘Intro Edit’ format.
