But don't let its retro looks fool you, the Spherion TRI LED is anything but your mother's mirrorball! This exciting new rotating centrepiece effect is strictly 21st century, utilising cutting-edge TRI LEDs, for a richness of colour, low heat emission, energy-efficiency and environmentally-friendliness that was unheard of back in the days of Saturday Night Fever.

Powered by five high-output 3-watt TRI LED sources, the Spherion TRI LED projects through 116 small lenses, while rotating 360°, to completely fill a room with razor-sharp beams of multi-coloured light. Using high-quality 1.8° stepper motors for smooth, accurate movements, the sphere's rotation speed can be controlled from fast to slow, making it a perfect centrepiece for lighting up everything from slow dance numbers to pulsating high-energy tracks. What's more, the Spherion TRI LED comes with onboard strobing and dimming effects that can be added to ramp up (or down) the energy level, while its wide 270° beam angle spreads its ultra-bright, colourful beams over all over the dance floor, walls or ceiling.

Operating the Spherion TRI LED is very easy too; users can choose from 3 modes: Sound-Active, Master/Slave and DMX. The unit comes with exciting built-in sound-activated programs that can be accessed simply by plugging it in and turning it on, alternatively users can create their own customised light show using a standard DMX-512 controller. When used with DMX, there are three channels for controlling Rotation Speed/Direction, Dimmer/Strobe and Colour (there is also a simple one channel mode). Another control option is to use American DJ's UC3 universal remote control (sold separately), which gives easy fingertip command over Blackout, Program Selection and other features.

The Spherion TRI LED offers a lot of different mounting options, giving users flexibility in positioning the unit. It comes with rubber feet that allow it to be set on a floor or table, and also includes a removable bracket for hanging on a wall or ceiling. Easily transportable, the Spherion TRI LED measures 320 x 190 x 422mm and weighs 5 kg.
