New Chairman for NADJ

The NADJ Chairman, Mark Porley, has stepped down from his role in order to devote more time to his family. In the interim leading up to the next NADJ AGM in April 2011 it has been deemed necessary to install an Acting Chairman and Mark has asked Paul Arnett (the current Branch Development Officer) to step into this role.
Mark lost his father recently and his mother's health has also been a concern which has led to his decision to step down in order to devote attention to his family during these difficult times. As all NADJ committee members are volunteers, family must come first and the membership send Mark and his family all their best wishes and support. Mark has been involved with the NADJ since its inception and has held the post of Chairman for the last two years.
Paul Arnett, who is a well-known figure in the industry, has stepped into the role of Chairman until the next AGM with the full support of the NADJ Secretary, Treasurer and the rest of the Committee. Commenting on his appointment Paul told Pro Mobile, "Mark did a great job in moving the association forward and I'm more than happy to build upon all the great work he did".
