Litestructures' GigRig™
Developed specifically for the mobile and touring DJ market, the GigRig from Litestructures is a goalpost-style trussing frame designed for simple and quick assembly. GigRig is constructed from Litestructures' established AstraLite2 modular trussing system. Made from lightweight aluminium, Astralite2 is an industry standard 2-chord truss with a width of 227mm and considerable load capacity.
Breaking down into ten easily manageable sections, including two specially designed hinged corners, the GigRig offers simple one-man assembly thanks to the included spigot connection pack. Alternatively, for even quicker assembly and dismantling, the optional Quick Release Pins save valuable time on-site.
Measuring a total of of 2.5m high and 3.4m wide, the frame has an interior height of 2.28m and width of 2.95m allowing plenty of room for manoeuvre within the rig. Despite the lightweight construction, the use of high performance AstraLite2 means the GigRig has a total load capacity of 200kg, more than enough for a typical mobile DJ's array of sound and lighting equipment.
What's more, GigRig comes with a custom-made durable nylon bag in which the whole system can be transported and stored. Litestructures has developed a simple and complete DJ rig, offering a solution which has given utmost consideration to the issues of assembly, transport and storage.
