BPM 2009 – The NEC
Europe’s biggest event dedicated to DJs, producers and performers is moving to the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham for 2009.
Following the success of the first two years at Donington Park Exhibition centre, the organisers have made the positive decision to move BPM to the internationally renowned NEC. The move will allow the event to grow, while remaining in a central location based in the thriving city of Birmingham. In 2009 BPM will take place over the weekend of Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th October 2009. In the future BPM will always be held on the first weekend in October, cementing the show in the international exhibition calendar.
In 2008 BPM attracted 80 exhibiting companies and over 2500 visitors for two days of equipment demonstrations, networking, seminars, workshops, live performances and DJ sets. Visitors and exhibitors alike hailed the event as another resounding success, affirming BPM’s place in the industry calendar.
BPM 2009 promises to be an even bigger and better event thanks to the flexibility of the space available at the NEC and to useful feedback from 2008. The organisers have collected opinions from all of last year’s exhibitors and a good sample of visitors and are using the results to ensure that the 2009 event meets the needs of all concerned.
The NEC is the busiest exhibition centre in Europe and offers unparalleled transport links by road, together with an on-site train station and airport, making BPM more accessible to both domestic and international visitors.
